A new University Technical College for 14–19 year olds in the Sheffield City Region
What is Sheffield UTC?
Sheffield UTC will be a new institution built in the heart of the city to provide work-based learning for young people throughout the region.
It will:
- take on 240 rising to 300 14-19 year olds every year
- teach advanced engineering and manufacturing, and creative and digital media
- serve Sheffield and the wider region
- have an employer-led curriculum including real-world work experience.
